Foundations of the Peak — An interactive guide to the natural and man-made landscape of the Peak District, Derbyshire. The site shows that rocks and minerals are critical in forming the landscape, varied ecology and rich cultural heritage of the area, it includes a 3 dimensional model that will allow you to ‘fly’ across the landscape and find out more about the links between scenery, geology, biodiversity, industry, settlement and minerals extraction.

Planning4Minerals — This is a training resource in key planning issues related to aggregate minerals. The site is aimed principally at those directly connected with planning in England, although it may also be of interest to other stakeholders in the minerals sector.
