The College of Life and Environmental Sciences at the University of Exeter is pleased to offer a +3 studentship funded by the ESRC and the British Geological Survey as part of the Environment, Energy and Resilience interdisciplinary pathway of the South West Doctoral Training Centre for entry in 2012/13. VACANCY

Soil Sampling
The British Geological Survey (BGS) will be recruiting earth and environmental science students for voluntary work, during the 2012 summer vacation, to assist with geochemical sampling in the South West of England. Fieldwork will involve the systematic collection of geochemical samples for the G-BASE project. There will also be a limited number of vacation posts in other departments within BGS.

Laboratory worker

A vacancy has arisen for a Stable Isotope Research Geochemist at our headquarters in Keyworth.

You will join the NERC Isotope Geosciences Laboratory (NIGL) and primarily conduct collaborative research in stable isotope mass spectrometry that comprise fields as diverse as hydrochemistry, pollution, geology, sedimentary processes, fluid processes, and climate-related research areas.
