VACANCY
You will be a key member of the BGS team carrying out research related to mineral planning policy in the UK and elsewhere (including issues related to licence to operate, and regulation of mineral extraction through spatial planning systems). You will also assist in the development of national knowledge base of UK mineral resources and their relationship to non-geological factors. In addition, you will contribute to applied research on issues related to the security of supply and sustainable development of mineral resources in the UK, Europe and elsewhere.
