Geology onshore digital maps 1: 50 000 scale (DiGMapGB-50)

Most of the 1:50 000 scale geological maps for England & Wales and for Scotland are now available digitally as part of the DiGMapGB-50 dataset.

It integrates geological information from a variety of sources. These include recent digital maps, older 'paper only' maps (some at one-inch to one-mile), and desk compilations for sheets with no published maps.

Up to four themes of polygon or area information are available: Bedrock Geology; Superficial Deposits; Mass Movement; and Artificial Ground.

DiGMapGB data are available in many scales and formats and may be supplied under licence on request.
