Within this three year project we will investigate the nature and probability of leakage (which is thought to be extremely small), quantify the environmental impact potential, test methods of monitoring and design improved predictive models of impact.
This project, which commenced in June 2010, will inform operational and risk assessment procedures for future CCS installations.
The project consortium consists of a range of UK research organisations, universities and risk management professionals.
