Land use and development
We
carry out an integrated programme of mapping, testing, monitoring
and modelling to describe the physical properties of the UK landmass
and how it behaves in a changing climate. This is a cornerstone in
our work to help society cope with climate change and population
growth. Crucial to our research is ongoing work to improve the ways
in which we communicate this important information to government,
industry and the general public.
