The 2nd International GSI3D Meeting takes place on 2–3 September
2008, at BGS Keyworth.
This 2-day meeting will include:
- Examples of scientific, applied and survey usage of GSI3D with
opportunities to meet modellers, users and developers and exchange
experiences and ideas.
- Fifteen presentations, poster displays plus a demonstration of the software and
a tour of the BGS 3D Visualisation Facility
- Speakers include BGS staff and invited speakers from: Colorado
School of Mines (Golden, USA), Environment Agency of England and
Wales, Universities of Birmingham and Brighton (UK), OOWV (Brake,
Germany), INSIGHT GmbH (Cologne, Germany), Deltares (Geological Survey of the Netherlands, Utrecht)
- Poster presentations are invited from all participants. Please follow the link below for guidance.

Professionals, academics and students in the fields of geology,
hydrogeology, engineering geology, geophysics, environmental science,
soil science, archaeology and 3D modelling.
