As part of a programme of collaboration with UK universities, BGS are looking to fund a limited number of places on 6 training courses.

• Extensional Tectonics in the Field: Utah/Nevada
• Geological field surveying course
• Highland Structural Geological Mapping: Scotland
• An introduction to Sequence Stratigraphy in the field: Utah
• Quaternary field mapping: Upland Britain
• Quaternary field mapping: Lowland Britain

Only one of each of the courses will be run this academic year, although there are plans to continue supporting attendance on courses in future years.
